In addition, Dr. Lefkowits has authored articles, spoken to both professional and general audiences and taught in these three specialty areas. Dr. Lefkowits has held clinical faculty positions at four different universities, served as a board member on two area mutli-disciplinary collaborative groups, presented at the International Association of Collaboarive Practice and was the Sports Psychologist for University of Maryland Sports Medicine.

Dr. Lefkowits is also skilled in addressing the complexities of the transitions, losses, and loyalty binds found in step and blended families .

• Dr. Lefkowits has written two recent articles for the Maryland Psychologist on Collaborative Practice. The first was titled "The Psychologists role in Collaborative Law",(May/June 2007) and more recently "Update on Collaborative Practice" (January/February, 2009)

• Dr. Lefkowits spoke on the subject "Personality Disorders that Stymie the Collaborative Process" during the monthly meeting of the Collaborative Dispute Resolution Professionals (CDRP) on October 19, 2009. In June, 2009, Dr. Lefkowits spoke on the subject of the role of "The Divorce Coach in the Collaborative Team Process" along with two attorneys to CDRP.
• Dr. Lefkowits is a regular guest speaker for the Second Saturday Series at Howard Community College, where he presents on the psychological and emotional impact of divorce on women and families. His most recent speaking engagement at the college will be on September 12, 2009.
• Dr. Lefkowits has frequently presented to the Howard County Collaborative Practice Group on subjects such as Divorce Coaching and the psychological impact of divorce on families.
• Dr. Lefkowits has recently been featured twice on an internet radio show, "Get your justice live". On May 12 Dr. Lefkowits was one of the speakers discussing the theme of The impact on litigation on families. On July 15 Dr. Lefkowits was also a featured guest who spoke on the show titled Help, my divorce of child custody lawyer (is not doing a good job for my family)
• In addition, Dr. Lefkowits has been a speaker at the University of Maryland Law School on the role of the divorce coach in collaborative practice and spoke at an annual conference on family law sponsored by NRFC on child custody evaluations and parent coordination.
